Wondering “How To Get Reviews For My New Book”?
I’m often contacted by Low Content Book Creators about how to get Reviews of a brand new diary, planner, menu planner, puzzle book etc.
▼ Looking for Reviews? Time to find potential buyers/customers 🙂
▼ Haven’t done any marketing at all? Haven’t shared the book link with anyone?
▼ Perhaps it’s time to start mentioning your book wherever you can. 😃
Here are some tips I shared recently with an Author on my monthly Zoom Chat.
▼ When you’re about to or have just published a new book, remember this:
- ➡️ If it’s one of millions of books on Amazon, how will people find it?
- ➡️ Why would anyone buy your book if they search on Amazon and there are hundreds of similar books?
- ➡️ What will make your book STAND OUT from the crowd?
Doing research on popular books in your niche on Amazon is a great place to start, but takes time.
Here are a few marketing suggestions which can be done starting today – I create images and GIFs of my books with links to the Amazon page, and share these on other social sites.
▼ Join Groups where Authors talk about their books and share the ways they are marketing.
▼ Join Book Marketing Groups on social platforms where it’s allowed to share the book.
▼ Join several Groups where people who are interested in YOUR type of book hang out.
▼ Comment and thank everyone who likes / comments, build up a following.
▼ If you plan to publish more books, create a free mailing list for people to sign up to so you can keep offer them a freebie related to your book, and also keep them updated with news about your book/s, and early bird info when new books are coming.
Sharing your images off your book, inside and out?
▼ I share new images and videos with my book mailing list subscribers, and I also ask for comments, ideas and suggestions to keep them involved.
▼ The idea is the more places you share your book, the more eyes will see it, and might share the link, or visit your book.
▼ I create Facebook groups and Pinterest pages about my books, where I post images, GIFs (animated images) and also short YouTube videos.
▼ I try to do one piece of marketing per day (per book), more if possible – a lot can be automated – but that’s a good place to start 🙂
Best of luck!
